Crossroads Care,will be an innovator and leader in the field of caring, aim to develop and extend its services, whilst maintaining and improving standards of care.

To relieve the stress of Carers by providing a professional home based respite service with skilled, trained staff
To avoid admission to hospital/residential care
To complement and supplement NOT replace existing services
To provide a high quality, flexible service
To treat Carers and people with care needs with respect and sensitivity
To involve Carers and the people with care needs in all decisions relating to their support
To provide consistent care to all individuals

Crossroads Care Bury is a registered charity which provides thousands of hours of practical and emotional support to a wide range of Carers each year.

The aim of this support is to help carers to continue to care for their loved ones, whilst reducing stresses associated with caring, and enabling the carer to enjoy some time of their own. In short we are here to help prevent carer breakdown and improve the quality of both the carers life and the person they support.

(A carer is anyone who is responsible for the care of a person of any age, at home, where the person being cared for has a physical or sensory disability, learning difficulty, or who is chronically ill or has a life limiting illness.)

Crossroads Care Bury provide services right across the Metropolitan Borough of Bury including Tottington, Radcliffe, Whitefield, Prestwich, Bury and Ramsbottom.

As a charity Crossroads Care Bury is governed by a Voluntary Board of Trustees.

The scheme is registered with the Care Quality Commission and adheres to National Minimum Care Standards. Our latest rating from the Care Quality Commission was the highest rating of 3 stars - Excellent.
